The Dongria Kondh’s historic victory over Vedanta Resources has the potential to become a turning point in India. The Indian government has protected the tribe’s rights over corporate interests.

Over 80 million tribal people live in India, many of them battling similar threats to those faced down by the Dongria.

How you can help

Please write now to the Indian government and urge it to sign the major international law on tribal peoples rights, for the future of all India’s tribes.
