Old and foreign currency

‘Currency for change’ is our foreign currency collection campaign.

The campaign has been launched in response to the adoption of the Euro, which in many European countries made the old national currency redundant. Survival is able to collect old European coins and notes, and indeed any other currencies from around the world, and convert them into funds for our work.

Donations of coins and notes in any currency, including sterling, are welcome. Donations can be made in two ways:

  • By visiting our office in London.
  • By sending it directly to our collection agent in a prepaid envelope.

Get everybody in your office, school, club or community group to hunt around at home and pool all the foreign notes and coins that can be found.

When you have four coffee mugs full of foreign coins and notes email Coin Co International (our foreign exchange specialists) at info@coincoplc.com or ring them on 01444 253 777. Quote,‘Currency for change – Survival’ and Coin Co will post you out a prepaid jiffy bag in which to send back your currency.

If you fill 16 coffee mugs or more please request a ‘Currency for change’ sack instead. This will be posted out to you and collected by courier.
