Regular donations are especially valuable to us, as they cut down on administration, and allow us to plan more work in the future. You can set up a regular donation by debit or credit card online, or use payroll giving or set up a direct debit.
You can spread out your donations to Survival by making a regular gift of any amount by direct debit. Yearly donations are the easiest for Survival to administer, but you may find it easier to budget for a quarterly or monthly donation – as little as £3 a month makes a difference to our work.
All you need do is fill in a form, stating how much you would like to donate and how often, and return it to us. Your bank will take care of the rest. Send us an email requesting one, and we will send you the form by post.
Payroll giving allows employees to make regular monthly donations direct from their pay, tax free. You nominate how much you would like to donate, and it is taken from your gross income before tax is removed. What’s more, the government currently adds another 10% onto what you donate, free of charge. So giving more really does cost less.
For example, a pledge of £5 costs a low-rate taxpayer only £3.90, or a high-rate taxpayer only £3. With the government subsidy, the charity actually gets £5.50.
Please ask your employer if this scheme is available to you. If it is, please consider enrolling and supporting Survival’s work. If not, you could ask your employer to make it available.
